Patek Philippe in Tbilisi

Dauri Club holds Patek Philippe references at 45G Merab Kostava Street — Calatrava, Nautilus and Aquanaut among them. Patek reaches us rarely and rarely stays long, so every arrival is checked, documented and photographed in our own workshop before it goes into the vitrine. We also purchase Patek Philippe watches, accept them in trade, and source specific references to order.

References We Hold

Patek Philippe is the house we are asked to source most often and hold least often. The references below are the ones our clients in Tbilisi come looking for — call ahead, or tell us what you are after and we will search on your behalf.

Patek Philippe Calatrava at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Introduced 1932

Patek Philippe Calatrava

The reference that settled the argument about what a dress watch should be. A clean round case, a dial with nothing on it that does not need to be there, and proportions that disappear under a shirt cuff. Sixty years of variations have not improved on the original idea.

Calatrava pieces come to us in yellow gold, white gold and rose gold, in sizes that suit a smaller wrist better than most modern watches do.

Patek Philippe Nautilus at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Introduced 1976

Patek Philippe Nautilus

Gérald Genta's porthole case, drawn in a Basel restaurant and now the most requested steel watch in the world. The horizontally embossed dial and integrated bracelet are the details people recognise before they recognise the name.

Nautilus references reach us occasionally rather than regularly. When one arrives it is documented before it goes on display, and clients on our waiting list hear about it first.

Patek Philippe Aquanaut at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Introduced 1997

Patek Philippe Aquanaut

The Nautilus idea rebuilt for a younger buyer: a rounded octagonal case, a tropical composite strap moulded to resist salt water, and a dial with the same embossed grid enlarged and squared off.

The Aquanaut is the more wearable of the two sport references, and the one we are able to source more readily.

Other Patek Philippe references

Gondolo, Golden Ellipse, Twenty~4, annual and perpetual calendars, world time and Grand Complications pieces reach us from time to time, and complicated references are sourced to order. If you are searching for a specific reference we do not currently hold, tell us what you are after — we will look on the international market and verify condition and authenticity before any purchase is made.

How We Work
01

Every piece checked

Movement, serial numbers, case, dial and bracelet examined in our workshop before a watch reaches the display.

02

Seen in person

Come to the boutique and handle the watch. No pressure, and our team speaks Georgian, English and Russian.

03

Trade-in accepted

Bring a watch you no longer wear and put its value toward the piece you want. Valuation is free.

04

Serviced afterwards

Our workshop looks after the watch for as long as you own it, with free diagnostics whenever you need them.

Buying a Patek Philippe in Tbilisi

Patek Philippe is bought slowly. Most clients who come to Merab Kostava Street asking about a Nautilus or a perpetual calendar have been reading about the reference for a year or more, and they arrive with the right questions: is it genuine, is the movement correct for the case, has the dial been refinished, and is there an extract from the archives.

We answer those before you ask. Every Patek Philippe that reaches our display has been through our workshop first — movement inspected against the reference, case and lugs examined for refinishing, hallmarks and case numbers checked, and accuracy measured on a timing machine.

What we check before a piece goes on display

Selling or trading a Patek Philippe

We purchase Patek Philippe watches outright and accept them in trade against pieces in our collection. Valuation is carried out on site and costs nothing, whether or not you decide to proceed. If you accept our offer, payment is settled immediately.

Bring the certificate of origin and box if you have them — on Patek they affect value more than on almost any other house. If you do not have them, that is not an obstacle, but say so up front and we will factor it into the valuation openly.

Patek Philippe service and repair

Our workshop looks after the pieces we sell and the pieces you already own: diagnostics, accuracy regulation, water resistance testing, polishing and crystal replacement. Every piece receives a free diagnostic first, and a fixed price before any work begins.

Read more about what a service involves on our watch service page, or see our journal guide to reading a watch movement if you would like to understand what is inside your watch before bringing it in.
