Cartier in Tbilisi

Dauri Club holds Cartier references at 45G Merab Kostava Street — Santos, Tank and Panthère among them. Each piece is checked for authenticity and condition in our own workshop before it reaches the vitrine. We also purchase Cartier watches, accept them in trade, source specific references to order, and service them on site.

References We Hold

Cartier is the house our clients in Tbilisi buy for themselves and for each other, and the one where the shape matters more than the movement. The references below are those asked for most often — call ahead if you want to try several sizes side by side.

Cartier Santos at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Introduced 1904

Cartier Santos

Made for Alberto Santos-Dumont, who could not read a pocket watch while flying, and generally credited as the first purpose-built men's wristwatch. The square case and exposed screws were structural before they were decorative, which is why they still look deliberate.

Current Santos references use an interchangeable strap system that lets one watch change character in seconds. Steel, two-tone and gold cases reach us in both sizes.

Cartier Tank at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Introduced 1917

Cartier Tank

Drawn from the plan view of a Renault tank — the brancards along each side are the tracks, the dial is the cockpit. A rectangle that has survived a century of fashion because it was never fashionable to begin with.

Tank Louis Cartier, Tank Must and Tank Française pieces come to us in gold and steel, on leather and on bracelet. The smaller references remain the most requested.

Cartier Panthère at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Introduced 1983

Cartier Panthère

A watch built like a bracelet, with articulated links that fall against the wrist rather than sitting on it. Discontinued in the 1990s, revived in 2017, and immediately back on waiting lists.

Yellow gold, steel and two-tone Panthère references reach us in small and medium sizes. Link condition and clasp integrity are checked closely before display.

Other Cartier references

Ballon Bleu, Baignoire, Tortue, Pasha and Clé de Cartier pieces reach us from time to time, alongside signed Cartier jewellery. If you are searching for a specific reference we do not currently hold, tell us what you are after — we will look on the international market and verify condition and authenticity before any purchase is made.

How We Work
01

Every piece checked

Movement, serial numbers, case, dial and bracelet examined in our workshop before a watch reaches the display.

02

Seen in person

Come to the boutique and handle the watch. No pressure, and our team speaks Georgian, English and Russian.

03

Trade-in accepted

Bring a watch you no longer wear and put its value toward the piece you want. Valuation is free.

04

Serviced afterwards

Our workshop looks after the watch for as long as you own it, with free diagnostics whenever you need them.

Buying a Cartier in Tbilisi

Cartier is bought differently from a sports watch. Clients arrive knowing the shape they want and unsure of the size, which is why we suggest coming in rather than deciding from photographs — a Tank that looks small on a screen frequently reads correctly on the wrist, and the reverse is just as common.

What we check is the same regardless. Every Cartier that reaches our display has been through our workshop first — case and hallmarks verified, movement inspected, cabochon and crown examined, and the bracelet or strap fittings checked against the reference.

What we check before a piece goes on display

Selling or trading a Cartier

We purchase Cartier watches outright and accept them in trade against pieces in our collection. Valuation is carried out on site and costs nothing, whether or not you decide to proceed. If you accept our offer, payment is settled immediately.

Bring the box, papers and any spare links if you have them. On bracelet references the link count affects value directly, and a full-length bracelet is worth meaningfully more than a shortened one.

Cartier service and repair

Our workshop looks after the pieces we sell and the pieces you already own: diagnostics, accuracy regulation, water resistance testing, polishing and crystal replacement. Every piece receives a free diagnostic first, and a fixed price before any work begins.

Read more about what a service involves on our watch service page, or see our journal guide to reading a watch movement if you would like to understand what is inside your watch before bringing it in.
