Hermès, Chanel and Bvlgari Bags in Tbilisi

Dauri Club holds and sources luxury bags at 45G Merab Kostava Street — the Hermès Birkin and Kelly, Chanel and Bvlgari among them. Every bag is authenticated and assessed for condition before it reaches the vitrine. We also purchase bags outright, accept them in trade, and source specific references to order.

Houses We Hold

Bags are sourced far more often than they are held, and the pieces most asked for in Tbilisi are rarely available anywhere at short notice. Tell us what you are looking for — size, leather and hardware — and we will search on your behalf.

Hermès Birkin bag at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Togo · Epsom · 25 / 30 / 35

Hermès Birkin

Built to the same single-artisan standard as the Kelly, with a wider mouth and no need to fasten the flap when you are carrying it open. Leather does most of the work: Togo is grained and forgiving of daily use, Epsom is rigid and holds its shape indefinitely.

The Birkin is the most counterfeited bag in the world and the most convincingly faked. Saddle stitching, hardware weight, the blind stamp and the interior construction are all examined before a piece is accepted.

Hermès Kelly bag at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Sellier · Retourné · 25 / 28 / 32

Hermès Kelly

Made by a single artisan from start to finish and saddle-stitched by hand rather than machined, which is why no two are quite identical. Sellier construction holds a rigid, architectural shape; retourné is softer and slouches with wear. Leather, size and hardware together determine value far more than age does.

Authentication covers stitching angle and tension, hardware stamping, the blind stamp and the internal construction. A bag that does not hold up on all four is declined rather than discounted.

Chanel Classic Flap and Boy bags at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Classic Flap · Boy · Caviar & Lambskin

Chanel

The Classic Flap with its interwoven chain and turn-lock, and the Boy with its harder lines and heavier hardware. Caviar and lambskin age completely differently, and which one suits you depends on how you actually carry a bag rather than on how it photographs.

Serial or microchip records, hardware weight and plating, quilting alignment across the flap and interior stamping are all checked before a Chanel bag reaches the display.

Bvlgari Serpenti Forever bag at Dauri Club, Tbilisi
Serpenti Forever · Roman, since 1884

Bvlgari

A jeweller's approach to a handbag. The Serpenti Forever closes with an enamelled snakehead in place of a clasp, finished to the standard of Bvlgari's jewellery rather than of its leather goods — Roman rather than Parisian, and quieter on the arm than either of the houses above.

Enamel condition is what separates a good Serpenti from a tired one: the scales chip at the edges and cannot be invisibly repaired. Enamel integrity, hardware plating and the interior stamping are checked before a piece reaches the display.

Sourcing a specific bag

If you are looking for a particular size, leather or hardware combination that we do not currently hold — or a piece from another house — tell us what you are after. We will look on the international market and authenticate and assess condition before any purchase is made.

How We Work
01

Authenticated first

Stitching, hardware, stamping and interior construction examined before a bag is bought, sold or displayed.

02

Seen in person

Come to the boutique and handle the bag. Wear is shown rather than angled around, and our team speaks Georgian, English and Russian.

03

Trade-in accepted

Put the value of a bag you no longer carry toward the one you want. Valuation is free.

04

Condition documented

Every mark is photographed and described before purchase, so nothing about the piece is a surprise afterwards.

Buying a Hermès, Chanel or Bvlgari bag in Tbilisi

A Birkin or a Classic Flap is bought on condition and authenticity, in that order, and both are read from details that photographs hide. Corner wear, handle darkening, hardware plating and the interior lining tell you what a bag has actually lived through, and none of them show up in a listing photograph taken well.

So every bag is assessed in person before it reaches our display — construction and stitching, hardware and stamping, interior condition and any accompanying paperwork. Where a bag has wear, we photograph and describe it rather than angling around it.

What we check before a piece goes on display

Selling or trading a bag

We purchase bags outright and accept them in trade against watches and other pieces in our collection. Authentication and valuation are carried out on site and cost nothing, whether or not you decide to proceed. If you accept our offer, payment is settled immediately.

Bring the dust bag, box, receipt and any accompanying paperwork. On bags the completeness of the set affects value substantially, and a piece with its original documentation places far more quickly than one without.

Care and repair

Cleaning, hardware checks and minor repairs are handled on site. Anything structural is assessed first and quoted before work begins, and we will tell you when a repair is not worth doing.

For watches, see our watch service page.

Bags are one of several categories we hold. See the full range of luxury watch brands at Dauri Club.

Dauri Club is an independent multibrand boutique in Tbilisi. We are not an authorised dealer for Hermès, Chanel or Bvlgari, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. Bags are pre-owned or sourced on the secondary market. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
